Sherin Hassanally

Sherin is the Principal of our practice. She qualified from Guy’s Hospital (London) in 1988 and was awarded her fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1994. She has worked in general practice for over 20 years and spent four years in the Oral and Maxillofacial department of several hospitals. She has also previously owned two practices, one in Nottingham City Centre and the other in North Cheam, where she was also a vocational trainer to newly qualified dentists for nine years.

Sherin has a special interest in making dentures and treating nervous patients, believing a little TLC goes a long way! She enjoys creating strong relationships with all her patients, working with our talented, diverse team and learning something new every day.

When not treating patients, Sherin loves travelling, playing a little golf, gardening and keeping fit. She thoroughly enjoys her work but also likes having something to look forward to every weekend. Sherin would love to own a little dog, and if she wasn’t a dentist, she would have liked to have worked in the perfume industry – concocting new fragrances.

Harjinder Nagah

Dental Associate

Harj qualified from Guy’s Hospital (London) in 2000 and has been working at Englands House for over eight years. He also works one day a week at St Helier Hospital carrying out Oral Surgery.

Harj has a special interest in Surgical Dentistry and Implantology, and was awarded a master’s degree in Implant Dentistry. He enjoys working in a friendly family practice, providing ongoing care to his patients.

When not treating his patients, Harj enjoys keeping fit – visiting the gym in the early hours of the morning before coming to work – and taking part in half marathons. He also enjoys scuba diving and cycling, although he is not able to do as much as he would like to as he has two young children who keep him well-occupied.

Olivia O’Neil-Dunne

Dental Associate

Olivia qualified from Bristol in 2002 and was awarded a master’s in Prosthodontics from the University of Hong Kong in 2008. She has over 15 years’ clinical experience – over seven of those at Englands House.

Olivia offers all aspects of general dentistry, as well as cosmetic rejuvenation, anti-wrinkle treatment and fillers. She has a special interest in restorative dentistry including cosmetic cases and tooth wear. She also treats patients with Temporomandibular (TMJ) pain.

She finds dentistry very rewarding and loves the diversity of her work and the variety of people she treats. She chose dentistry as a career as she loves art and considers dentistry to be an artistic form of medicine.

When not treating her patients, Olivia has two young children and a long-haired chihuahua which she brought back from Hong Kong, who keep her very busy. She is also a foodie and loves visiting art galleries, particularly to see the work of Lucian Freud.

Delma Lenderyou

Hygienist

Delma is our hygienist and has over 20 years’ experience in dental practice and teaching periodontology.

She loves working in a focused and caring team – all members of which pride themselves on getting to know the patients and providing the best possible treatment and care.

When not caring for teeth and gums, Delma loves walking, going to the theatre, visiting art galleries, cooking and football.

Abi Smith

Practice Manager and Dental Nurse

Abi joined Englands House in 2012 as a trainee dental nurse, because she was interested in tooth aesthetics. She loved the work so much that she not only qualified as a dental nurse but she is now also training to be a Practice Manager, pursuing a course in Leadership and Management.

As well as nursing, Abi carries out a number of other roles in the practice, including working on reception, infection control and practice management.

She is particularly interested in anterior restorations, veneers, crowns and facial rejuvenation. She also enjoys patient care, working in a team and helping to make sure the practice runs smoothly.

Outside work, Abi loves visiting the gym, spending time with her family, travelling to new destinations and interior design.

Eli Brown

Eli joined our team earlier this year, she has been qualified for 4 years as a qualified dental nurse.

Eli started working for Englands House on a temporary basis and is now a permanent member of the team. As well as nursing, she is also involved in infection control.  She enjoys all aspects of working in general practice and has a particular interest in surgical dentistry and oral health advice. She also likes making sure patients feel comfortable during their treatment journey.

Outside the practice Eli enjoys reading, walking, cinema, spending time with her family.

Carly Hurst

Dental Nurse

Carly has over 14 years’ experience in dental nursing and enjoys seeing the wide variety of patients who visit the practice. She is particularly interested in helping patients who are undergoing facial rejuvenation treatments, dental implants and orthodontics.

She has two children under six who keep her occupied, but when she does have some free time, she likes reading, having dinner with friends and going to the cinema.

Huong Tran

Dental Nurse

Huong comes from Vietnam where she first worked as a Dental Nurse. She moved to the UK in 1994 and qualified as a nurse in 2005. Huong loves taking care of our patients and making them feel comfortable throughout their treatment journey.

She is particularly interested in caring for patients who are having dental implants or orthodontic treatment.

Huong has two grown up girls and loves to travel and explore new places. She also loves looking after her garden and doing yoga.

Sakun Gurung

Dental Nurse

Sakun comes from Nepal and has been working in dental nursing for over six years. As well as being a part of the Englands House team, she also works at Guy’s Hospital in London.

She enjoys all aspects of her work and has a particular interest in radiography and oral hygiene.

When not caring for our patients, Sakun loves travelling and looking after her garden.

Helen Swinbank

Dental receptionist

Helen is one of our dental receptionists who also trained as a dental nurse and was a practice manager in the West End of London for over 20 years. She has over 40 years’ experience!

She is particularly interested in patient care for the elderly, enjoys getting to know the patients and loves the way each day brings a new challenge. She likes the fact that dentistry is continually advancing and she is always learning new skills.

Helen recently got married and has bought a caravan with her husband, so she is looking forward to exploring the UK and travelling abroad. She has never outgrown her love of teddy bears and boasts an ever-expanding collection.

Libby Smith

Dental receptionist

Libby joined our practice earlier this year from her background in veterinary reception.

She is particularly interested in patient care and the patient experience here at the practice. Learning the knowledge and new skills that come with dentistry, she is learning every day.

Libby enjoys walking, reading, holidays, campervanning with her hubby and spending time with her family especially her granddaughter.
